For more than twenty years Planungsgruppe Leve consisting of 8 architects and planners has dealt almost exclusively with consulting, planning and realisation tasks for equestrian leisure, riding and racing sport. During this time we have specialized in the requirements of the German and foreign clientele. We have been able to use our long time experience with the consulting and planning as well as the new construction or modification of existing facilities – from smaller private or public riding and breeding facilities up to bigger facilities – meeting our customers’ utmost satisfaction and always developing new ideas. Germany being one of the most famous riding and racing nations in the world always had a discerning clientele with projects which enabled us to use and increase our know-how. We have become famous in Germany due to our demand in perfect planning and realisation of the projects and satisfying our customer. Today we are sure being able to develop and realise the optimal concept according to our customers’ preset for manner of use, existing area and costs of the facility.

One of our long-time customers is the German Olympic Committee for Riding (DOKR) in Warendorf surrounded by many equestrian facilities realised by us. Furthermore, we developed a master plan themed “Living with horses” offering the possibility for keeping horses close to private residential buildings in Germany for the first time.

„MARKOPOULO OLYMPIC EQUESTRIAN CENTRE“ in Athens, scene of the Olympic Games 2004, is one of our famous planning projects. Here we developed a master plan for an area of 250 ha providing a basis for the further planning of buildings and riding facilities.

In 2006 we constructed a training centre with race track for the famous German thoroughbred stud SCHLENDERHAN in Bergheim nearby to Cologne. This high quality facility with 52 boxes, a roofed trotting ring and a grass/sand race track of 2200 m offers optimal training conditions.

On the occasion of the „ASIAN GAMES 2006“ in Doha/Qatar the new construction of the facilities of the Racing & Equestrian Club in Doha was finished. Here Planungsgruppe Leve was responsible for the master plan and the outline planning of the racing club and the horse centre as well as for the expert consulting during further planning stages.

In Moscow we have just started planning a so called “Horse Park” for private investors. An area of 300 ha forms the basis for the construction of a Horse Park and a centre for events, science, congress and hotel “around the horse”. This world-wide unique facility combines several equestrian sports institutions. In these pleasure grounds 850,000 visitors can get any information about horses.
